We recognise insurance is an intangible product and when you make a claim, this is the only time the value of the policy is truly tested. We treat claims as a priority and all outstanding claims are regularly reviewed in order to reach a satisfactory conclusion. We negotiate with insurers to ensure the right decisions are made.

For charities with an almshouse policy insured with RSA, in an emergency outside of office hours, please telephone 0800 107 8569 (you must quote reference BF43172575).  You will be given advice and access to tradesmen.  For almshouse charities, subject to certain provisos, we have agreed an express procedure with RSA, to deal with straightforward claims with a value up to £2500.
